Supporting the production of historic Karajan recordings as cinema movies in the ARRI studios in Munich was one of my rare projects without direct connection to room acoustics. Using the Vivace system as an exceptionally flexible tool to create concert hall spaces in cinemas was extremely exciting and instructive. The potential of the connection between the Vivace multichannel acoustics and the Dolby Atmos® rendering proved to be quite impressive and promising also for the creation of cinema sound in general. Unfortunately, there was not enough time available for me to further proceed in this direction up to now.
