The Dorniermuseum with all the exhibited historic airplanes provided a very special background for two classical concerts in 2011 and 2019 with orchestral and chamber music. The exhibition hall is acoustically designed to minimize the noise created by the visitors. Thus, transforming the dry acoustic conditions into a high-quality concert hall could only be done by electronic enhancement. Using the wings of the airplanes as reflection surfaces for the loudspeakers used with Vivace was a nice experience and I remember both concerts as artistically quite exceptional.
