Musicaltheater König Ludwig II., Füssen

Designing the acoustics of a theatre for a very special musical about the Bavarian King Ludwig II. was my first bigger project when I started at Müller-BBM in 1997. Working for and with Prof. Karlheinz Müller in this and many other projects was extremely instructive and helpful for me. The now called ‘Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein’ opened in April 2000 after two years of intense planning and construction phases. Unfortunately, the original vision of a musical that should sound like the Bayreuth Festspielhaus without the perception of sound reinforcement got a bit lost during the last project phase. It is not unlikely that this experience laid the foundation for my further work in this direction.
